The boat is now out of the water at Brooms and the old engines have been removed.   The engine room now looks empty!

We shall shortly begin installing the new Quantums which are still sitting in the workshop in their wrappers.

By co-incidence the other BrookeMarine cruiser that Brooms re-engined some time ago is presently on the yard and is next to Ocean Pirate in the photograph.

We will take the opportunity to paint the engine bay and install new bilge pumps whilst the engines are out and renew the noise insulation panels.   Think we might need these doing about 160 miles a day at near maximum revs during the race!!
